Project Description

About

Plastic Seeds is a short incremental strategy game created for Climate Jam 2026.

Players begin by manually collecting plastic waste from a polluted beach. As they earn resources and build public awareness, they unlock new initiatives including educational programs, community cleanup efforts, recycling infrastructure, and policy improvements.

The game explores how individual actions can grow into larger environmental solutions. While picking up litter is important, lasting change comes from prevention, collaboration, and systems that stop pollution before it reaches the ocean.

Inspired by incremental games such as Cookie Clicker and Universal Paperclips, Plastic Seeds combines satisfying progression with environmental storytelling to create a hopeful experience centered on the Climate Jam theme, "Plant a Seed."

Climate Message

Plastic pollution cannot be solved through cleanup alone.

Every small action plants a seed that can grow into something much larger.
