Goblin Chaser
Fight through hordes of monsters in an arena. Rack up points and survive for as long as you can!
Controls
- WASD = Move
- Shift = Dash
- R = Unleash Ultimate
- Attack and skills are automatic
Theme
This game supports the theme "High Score Chasers" by having a high score system where you can gain points by slaying monsters and chasing a high-points goblin.
Stop Killing Games Premise
This game will be available to play as a web build, but also as an .exe (after the game jam). It doesn't require access to internet to play, all scoring is saved locally. However, you can optionally link your data to Discord.
Build your hero
At the start of the game, choose an archetype: Prism, Fire, or Ice. Prism lets you manipulate enemy positions to pull and push them around. Fire burns enemies over time and Ice slows them down. Your archetype decides your starting skill. It'll also show up more often in your choices after each horde, guaranteed at least once.

Keep moving
Some monsters shoot back, so keep moving. Dash through danger to become invulnerable and pass straight through enemies. Attack to build your Tempo, your resource for unleashing your Ultimate. However, stop attacking and your Tempo drains, so keep the pressure on!

The Treasure Goblin
Keep an eye out for the Treasure Goblin. Killing him gives a massive score bonus compared to regular monsters, so chase him down before he vanishes!

Level up
After each horde, choose a new skill, upgrade one you already have, or enchant your weapon with a new effect.

Risk it all
Clear a difficulty and you can choose to Escape to keep your score, or Risk it and dive into the next difficulty for even more points. However, if you die, you walk away with nothing. Only true survivors bring their score home!
This game was made for the Stop Killing Games Community Jam 2026 with the theme: “High Score Chasers.”
